Beachclub VVW Heist

Multi-function beach club with a unique variety of sports on offer, symbolised by the Flemish Catamaran School. A pleasant interaction between training and the members activities.

Activities
Members activities: moorings for boats and boards, sporting and social activities,including during the winter.
Equipment rental and tuition: individual initiations, sport weekends, sport camps.
Group sports days and incentives: companies, schools societies, ...

Range of sports
In the form of group sports days and incentives, individual private lessons, weekend courses and week sport camps.
Pleasure sailing: catamaran, youth-cat, topper, optimist, caravelle.
Surf kicks: wind, fun and wave surfing, kite surfing, bodyboard and skimboard
Paddle pleasure: sea and surf kayakking, rafting.
Motorised ski-sensation: water skiing, wake-boarding, 'banana' ski.
Sail kicks on the beach: beach volleyball, rugby, frisbee, earthball ...

The club has 5 rescue boats that are used to ensure safety and for guidance.

Accommodation and location
Spacious and stylish beach pavillion with a bar and tropical terrace, storage space for boards and sailing tackle, changing rooms, toilet facilities, hot showers, classroom, play-garden, secretariat and workshop. Round the pavillion are boat moorings. Club 4WD vehicles for the beach transport of boats. Because of the position on a sandy bay without breakers, it is a safe area for towing and for beaching.
