Tournai, balade médiévale en tandem

Discover Tournai on tandem bikes! Wal’Nord Tourisme is providing guided tours of the Town of the Five Bell Towers, which will be taking place all summer long, and until November. Cycle around the quiet streets of the town centre of Tournai, finding out more about the ramparts, the Tour Henri VIII, the Pont des Trous and Romanesque and gothic houses. Through anecdotes and games, you will find out the most secret of secrets of this UNESCO-listed town. These outings will be held on specific dates, in the morning, from 10 am: on 21 June 2015; on 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 and 30 July 2015; on 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 and 25 August 2015; on 20, 22, 27, and 29 October 2015; and on 3 November 2015. Meet at L’Esplanade de l’Europe. The tours last two hours and cost €19 per person (including tandem rental) or €10 per person if you bring your own bike. Booking mandatory. Maximum 10 people. Group package: €180 for 10 people. Extra charge of €36 per additional tandem, with a maximum of 16 people applying (tandem rental included). Extra charge on Sundays and state holidays: €50. Option of customising the tour (in terms of date, time and place). A made-to-measure programme can also be created.
