Diksmuide is the perfect stopping place for pleasure boating on the Yser, the only stream that flows into the sea in Flanders. At 18 km from the mouth in Nieuwpoort, Diksmuide is connected to the entire Westhoek and the interior via various canals.
If you stay for several days, don't forget to walk down the "city link", which runs past the port and visits the main sights. The environment also has many assets. On foot or by bike you can discover the beautiful Westhoek, or take a trip to our beaches.
