Burnaby Central Secondary School is a public high school in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is located adjacent Deer Lake Park and is a part of Burnaby School District 41. Currently, there are more than 1,400 students attending the school. It has five computer labs, two gymnasiums, two outdoor fields, and a track. Burnaby Central is also known for having a strong rugby team, its award-winning music program, as well as their wrestling program as well as a track and field and football teams which are both making comebacks. Winning boys and girls soccer teams, championship girls volleyball team, and district champion cross country team add to the athletic successes at Central. In 2009, the wrestling team competed in the provincial championships and came out as the BOYS BC champions, this is Central's first comeback banner win in the wrestling division.
