The Wengernalp railway (German: Wengernalpbahn, WAB) is a 19.091 kilometres (11.863 mi) long rack railway line in Switzerland. It runs from Lauterbrunnen to Grindelwald via Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg, making it the world’s longest continuous rack and pinion railway.
The Wengernalp is an alpine meadow at an elevation of 1874 m, between Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg in the Swiss Alps. It can be reached on foot, by the Wengernalp railway (WAB) to Wengernalp station from Wengen or by skiing from Kleine Scheidegg.
