Calahorra, (pronounced: [kalaˈora]), La Rioja, Spain is a municipality in the comarca of Rioja Baja, near the border with Navarre on the right bank of the Ebro. During ancient Roman times, Calahorra was a municipium known as Calagurris Fibularia.
Calahorra is one of the cities beloning to the network of the Paths of Sefarad of the Caminos de Sefarad.
The Jewish quarter of Calahorra was located in what is now the Rasillo de San Francisco. Furthermore, the Cathedral’‘s Diocesan Museum is home to the Torah from the old synagogue, as well as documents relating to the life of the Jewish community.
