Turismo de Sanxenxo

“Turismo de Sanxenxo S.L.” is the first mixed-ownership local tourism management Company in the province of Pontevedra, owned jointly by the Sanxenxo City Council and the Sanxenxo Tourism Business Owners’ Association. The Company was founded with the purpose of carrying out tourist promotion and marketing activities for our municipality. As an entity charged with the ongoing enhancement of Sanxenxo as a tourist destination, and with disseminating its values externally by commissioning and implementing professional tourist strategies and establishing alliances between the public and private sectors, which are tasked with creating and agreeing upon Sanxenxo’s tourism strategy and will thus take part in the evolution of the main driving force for our town’s economy. The creation and set-up of this company is in itself a long sought-after achievement and the results of its operation will influence positively the promotion and commercialisation of Sanxenxo as a quality Tourist Destination, the creation of new tourist products and the diversification of our municipality’s tourism offering, among others, therefore contributing to the search for new alternative markets, different from the already-established Sun and Surf tourism. Summarising, this is the greatest tourism-related step forward in years.
