O Curruncho picnic area is one of the most significant places in Sada, not only due to its beauty but also for the leisure opportunities it offers.
Every 18th August (last day of the local San Roque fiestas) the traditional Gran Sardiñada -declared of National Tourist Interest- is held. There you can eat delicious grilled sardines with broa (typical Galician corn bread) and local wine. Although it is a gastronomic fiesta, popular games and aquatic competitions are scheduled during the day in the As Delicias Beach, which provides access to the picnic area.
