The village is known as stop-over en route to Santiago de Compostela. The pilgrims were mostly attracted by the relics of Saint Foy, a young martyr from the 4th century. Also have a look in the 12th century abbey church of Sainte Foy. There you will find a sculputerd tympanum of the Last Judgement.
