From the idyllic plateau Folgaria, the road Lavarone-Luserna branches off just before the Passo di Vezzena. A road, the so-called "Kaiserjägerweg" leads to Caldonazzo. Its a real highlight to follow this road. Tyrolean soldiers created this path that leads from 1.255m down to Caldonazzo. It was cut out in the rocks during World War I. For about 12 kilometers the road is winding through tunnels, some of which are only 2.50 m wide and high. The road is offering splendid views on Lake Caldonazzo and the Valsugana Valley.
