The Boboli gardens are used in the book Inferno of Dan Brown, famous for his bestseller the Da Vinci Code. The main characters Robert and Sienna run into the gardens because the local police and Italian military police is after them.  They are on their quest to figure out the solution to the Map of Hell of Dante.
