The download of routes on your Garmin device has been upgraded!
This is how it works now: Connect one or even several Garmin devices to your PC or Mac. Your device gets detected. We create a track with a fitting number of track points for your device. Load the route directly to your device. Done!
If a device is not known to us (e.g. a new type), you can still download the track to your device. You indicate the required number of track points for your device. You do need to know how many track points your device can handle. But you can find it in the manual of your device.
If you have not installed the Garmin Communicator Plugin you will get a message and link how to install this.
In the past, you frequently got an annoying message from the Garmin Communicator Plugin trying to access your device; although your device was not connected. This is solved now.
And for our customers who use our download plugin (read here more about this), there is also good news. Previously, downloading routes directly to Garmin devices could not be offered in the RouteYou download plugin. But it is now part of it. Contact us for more info.
