Race cyclingTo be able to plan your race cycling route better, RouteYou provides now three great new routing options in the RouteYou RoutePlanner (Europe):

  1. Race cycling - nicest: We guide you along the nicest race cycling roads: selecting quiet routes with great landscapes, avoiding busy roads if possible, but also avoiding roads which are too small, avoiding unpaved roads, preferring roads with a link to cycling classics (check more exampels here), avoiding to turn too much left and right interrupting your smooth tempo,...
  2. Race cycling - shortest: We guide you along the shortest way via roads which are allowed for (race) cyclists but also which are possible for race cycists: we exclude upaved paths, we exclude paths where it is not allowed to cycle,...
  3. Recreational cycling nicest (-unpaved): Because we have quite some race cyclist who prefer the very small paved roads and don't mind to turn a bit left and right to get these road, we also provide the option recreational cycling nicest excluding unpaved.
