In the Narrows of Zion National Park, you can see on this spot an old pothole 3 meters above the current riverbed. This indicates the previous level of the river. It''s now a tradition to leave a mark of your hike by aiming a pebble in the hole. Remember this is the only kind of mark you are allowed to leave in this great canyon!
