Sunday Spin Feeding the Swans is OK as long as ...

Cycle Hereford Sunday Spin 18th July 2010. According to the RSPB, bread won't hurt swans but apparently won't do them any good. They prefer potatoes, wheat and veg. This is important because we plan to spend some quality time with swans mid point in our Sunday Spin to Hoarwithy, returning via Capler Hill and Fownhope. Pushing bikes uphill allowed, as always!

Hereford Cathedral has the Hereford Mappa Mundi on display. The Hereford Map is a mappa mundi or worldmap representing the view of the word ca. 100. It has the shape of a T in an O. Hence, these type of maps are called the T in O maps.

The Hereford map is the largest medieval map known to still exist. The map measures 158 cm by 133 cm.
