This alley, along which monumental farms with leased land are located, forms a green area close to the center of Almelo. The Gravenallee is prohibited for motorized traffic, with the exception of local traffic, and is central to the eastern green lung of Almelo Parkstad. The gravenallee is only crossed by the Van Rechteren Limpurgsingel, which is closed during the special case of a funeral from the Almelo house. The allee ends at De Pook and the Almelo-Nordhorn Canal.
