The first five kilometres beside the shallow, fast flowing Murrindindi River is an absolute delight and the climb up Falls Creek Road will do wonders for your fitness. Wilhelmina Falls viewing platform overlooks the river valley below, then semi-overgrown bush trails lead to a steepish descent with some loose rock sections. The final stretch is an easy flat ride back to the start. The river track can get muddy in the wet. plenty of shade throughout.
