Piccadilly Valley Loop

Nestled behind towering Mt Lofty, the Piccadilly Valley is a lush horticultural area with a distinctly English feel, the cool hills climate and higher rainfall making European trees and colourful English-style gardens a feature of the landscape. This rolling loop ride takes us down into and along the valley, climbing out to traverse around the front of Mt Lofty. In essence a circumnavigation of the mountain, it has two distinctive parts: the long, gentle descent into Piccadilly and beyond through market gardens and orchards, and the equally long climb through the native bushland of Mt Lofty?s western flank.
