This ride follows a pipeline access track through the beautiful Heathcote National Park and also the lovely Heathcote River. There are many opportunities along the trail to access some of the beautiful pools on the Heathcote River which are perfect for a dip on a hot summer?s day. One of the most notable of these pools is Lake Eckersley which can be reached via a short walk from the trail. Whilst not technically difficult this ride does involve some hills and is suitable for riders with good fitness levels.
