An easy and scenic ride, starting at a spot off the beaten track known mainly to locals and a few adventurous walkers and cyclists, Jeff Joseph Reserve which features a little jetty, kid?s playground and the shared walking and cycle track. Take the path right and towards the hill for a little climb to Heathcote. This used to be a home for psychiatric patients but is now a stunningly restored site housing a caf?, restaurant and playground all with great views. You can walk up the steps to check it out, or ride up the road.
