This ride offers a gateway to the Perth hills. Starting at the foot of the range you?ll pass through the suburbs of Forrestfield, Kalamunda, Bickley, Pickering Brook, Lesmurdie and of course Gooseberry Hill. All beautiful names disguising an enormous amount of pain that they?re capable of dishing out as you pedal through some of the toughest climbing in Perth. Of course there?s the resulting pleasure of the descents that follow, although some of this can be quite the white knuckle ride as well.
