This is a challenging and rewarding ride east of Canberra to the Googong foreshore and Googong Dam lookout. It is an undulating ride that is suitable for experienced touring riders and seasoned cyclists. It is also a very scenic ride, passing woodlands, open forests, grasslands, and of course offering beautiful views across the Googong Reservoir. This ride is often used by locals to get a good fix of hill climbing without having to travel south or too far from the city centre.
