This is another challenging mountain climb which rewards riders with a sense of achievement and the thrill of riding through such beautiful country. The town of Mansfield where you start is attractive and has all the amenities a cyclist needs. It is also a ride of two parts with the first being a slight climb through open rolling country before the road points skywards with about 16km to go.
