This ride joins two seaside towns which are bustling in season, but passes through peaceful areas of remnant bushland and wetlands. Starting at Cowes, which has numerous options for accommodation and eating (and bicycle hire at the bike shop in the main street), it is a great ride for bushlovers who want to get a feel for Phillip Island pre-development. There are information boards, rest spots and lookouts along the way so you may want to have a good look around and a picnic.
