Oriented pseudo-basilica in Gothic style, rising in core until the beginning of the thirteenth century, but constantly rebuilt, enlarged and embellished over the centuries. Originally surrounded by a cemetery, which is now largely furnished as a parking space, partly as a green zone. The cemetery was dissolved in 1944 and transferred to the Mollemseweg. In old photos the iron fences are still visible as well as the checkered pillars with crowning ornamental vases on the Kerkstraat.
