Description

The village square of Lotenhulle was tastefully redesigned in 1998. The originally Romanesque Holy Cross Church (late 12th century) was enlarged in the 16th century into a three-aisled church but heavily damaged during the Wars of Religion. After various repairs in the 17th and 18th centuries, fairly extensive renovation works were carried out in 1870. The wooden ceiling is worth a look.
