This is a forest area of about 250 ha, which was once created by the fathers of the Boudelo Abbey with the intention of creating a drainage system to drain the marshes and be able to cultivate them as agricultural land. As a forest area it is still a valuable whole, but its natural value has been influenced by the construction of a water extraction area.
