The Keuzemeersen is a nature reserve and nature reserve on the left bank of the Leie in Drongen and in Baarle-Drongen, part of the municipality of Ghent, which is part of the Living Leie nature park. A difference with the other lakes around Ghent is the presence of many wooded edges and rows of pollard willows. The area consists of the Northern and Southern Keuzemeersen, intersected by the E40. Since January 2019, the merger of the Keuzemeersen nature reserve with the more north-eastern Assels nature reserve has been recognized.
