Description

We descend at junction 34 to the center of aalst where you can admire the beautiful belfry (Unesco world heritage) in addition to the museum 't Gasthuys. In the museum you should definitely see the paintings (with windmills) by Valerius De Saedeleer. The disappeared watermills on the Dender can also still be admired.
On the Grote Markt we relax with a bowl of onion soup or with a nice piece of Aalst pie on one of the many terraces. Plenty of choice: Museum café, den Beiaard or the Borse of Amsterdam, etc...
