The Château de Corroy is a 13th-century mediaeval lowland fortress.
It is a huge quadrilateral edifice with four corner towers and an imposing gatehouse comprising two semicircular towers.
The château was altered in the 18th century and the dungeon and south-east curtain wall were demolished to allow sunlight to enter. Vast living-quarters were also created.
In the 19th century, further work produced the present dining-room, with its impressive marble décor.
