Description

It consists of a cubic base, on which is placed a column with an octagonal base. The inscription reads: "Wilhelm, Graf von Schwerin, Koenigh Preus Obrist und Ritter. Gefallen, dem Siege am Juni 1815, In des fremde fûr die Heimath. » ; which can be translated as "William, Count of Schwerin, Colonel of the King of Prussia and Knight. Fell during the victory of 1815, abroad for the Fatherland. Countess von Schwerin, who was at the origin of the erection of this monument, to keep alive the memory of her husband, gave the parish priest of Lasne an annual sum of 100 florins for his works
