This old village square of Ename is the setting for a number of unmissable events during the summer months: in July for the unique Museum Night and in August for the Feeste t'Ename, with the horse market as one of the highlights.
On the corner of the square, next to the church, is the Provincial Archaeological Museum. It opened its doors in 1998 and shows the daily life of the Enaam community, from the early Middle Ages to today. By presenting the past in a way that is recognisable to everyone, the museum wants to involve the public more closely in its unique heritage. Using interactive presentation techniques, visitors can reconstruct the puzzle of the past. Families and children will certainly get their money's worth here!
