The Voorste Luysmolen is an underlay mill on the Abeek, located between Bocholt and Stramproy at Luysenweg 2.
Even before 1515 this mill was mentioned as a full mill. In the course of the 19th century it was also used as a grist mill. The wooden mill building was replaced by the current brick building in 1884. In 1952 or 1953 the wooden gangway was replaced by a cast iron installation. In 1965, however, the company was shut down and the mill fell into disrepair.
