Elaborated pedestal as a sarcophagus, on which a column with capital forms the base for the Sacred Heart with outstretched arms. Mention of the fallen of Messelbroek, and a commemorative plaque with the text "messelbroek aan het h. hart en zijn gefallvelde zonen".
