Parish Church of St. Peter Neo-Gothic brick church, built in 1906 according to a memorial stone to a design by architect H. Geirnaert (Ghent).
Three-aisled cruciform church with west tower and polygonal choir flanked by rectangular side choirs of one bay.
Basilical brick building with scarce processing of natural stone for sills, drip and cover mouldings and window panels.
West façade with pointed arch portal and rood screen window. Lower church of five bays with the first northern bay above, square tower of five sections under constricted needle spire. Slender, double corner buttresses, rejuvenating per section. Pointed arched porch, windows, blind niches and reverberation holes; terminating pointed arch frieze. Side aisles with striking buttresses, three-light windows and brick mullioned frieze.
Interior with harstone columns with eight-sided base and crocket capital; pointed arches; Brick cross rib vaults with freestone ribs.
Mobile: Neo-Gothic altars, confessionals, communion rail, choir stalls, panelling, pulpit.
Baroque altars in the transept, from the former parish church.
