Our Lady of Peace Chapel. This wayside chapel is said to have been erected to replace an earlier one at a different location, namely "aen het cruysen der Neerstraete en de straete naer Schaubekestraete en Suybroekestraete". Built at the end of 1925 on the initiative of the pastor and the local residents at the current location on the staggered building line between the houses number 36 and number 38, finished in 1926 (confer year on the façade).
Elongated rectangular roadside chapel with slightly wider rear part, under overhanging gable roof (artificial slates). Built of brick with cut joints and equipped with a white-painted cemented front gable on a bluestone plinth. Pointed arched door flanked by two pilasters in the form of pointed arch niches in a profiled frame. Above the doorway is the year 1926 and a banderole with the inscription: "B.V.O. / Our Lady / Of Peace". Wooden door with barred door light and traced fanlight. A pointed arch window in both side walls.
Porch separated from the choir by a round arch, partly closed by a white-painted wooden double door with pointed arched openwork wings. Banderol with painted inscription: "Ave Maria" above the arch. Plastered and white-painted interior vaulted by a twill arched plastered vault. On the altar against the back wall is a crowned statue of Mary with Infant Jesus, dressed in a blue cloak with yellow fringes; Above it is a large crucifix.
