Description

Chapel planted in a hedged flower parterre in a meadow just behind the canal, accessible via a bridge with iron railings. Typical chapel of the 1950s erected by the Farmer's Band, inaugurated on May 4, 1958 as a lasting reminder of the jubilee of 25 years of the Farmers' Guild. Round-arched niche with statue of Our Lady of Lourdes in wide pillar set with whitewashed rough plaster, ending at blunt pointed top under a protruding gable roof. On the pedestal bluestone memorial stone with the inscription: "1932-1957 / O. Lady who wanted god to be a mother / protect / our parish our families / our farmers' guild". Above it is an iron fence with ex-votos.
