Description

In 2003, this forest hut was built as a rest and shelter for hikers. The workers of the Agency for Nature and Forest used FSC-labelled larch wood for this. Lork supplies wood that is very weather resistant without the use of wood preservatives. The Forest Stewardship Council or FSC® is an international label for responsible forest management. Responsible forest management not only takes the environment into account, but also has a social dimension and is economically feasible. In other words: forest management with respect for people and nature, today and for future generations. The Polygoonbos has also received an FSC certificate.
