The Zwaenhofstede is a renovated closed farm. According to the current resident, a beam in the living room bore the year 1732. Especially the eighteenth-century living area was renovated quite recently. The round-arched door frame of local arkose was retained both in the façade and in the façade. The U-shaped outbuildings were largely given their current design in the early twentieth century, as evidenced by their appearance and the cadastral mutation sketches where a thorough change in volume was drawn in 1913. The most original part is formed by the eighteenth-century, two-aisled longitudinal barn of six bays under a gable roof that strongly cantilevers on the yard side.
