Description

On 20 August 1926, the author returned from Ostend to Ghent, to the Villa "La Frondaie", Ouden IJzerenweg 2 in Zwijnaarde (now Leebeekstraat). On 19 January 1929 he was appointed full professor. On August 23, 1929, just over one year after his fiftieth birthday, Karel van de Woestijne died in "La Frondaie".
