Forest cows

Within the inner lane of the former hypodrome, a few Scottish Highland cows are used to keep the vegetation in check. The cows were used here from March 22, 2014. The animals have a 7 ha grazing block. DUs you have to be lucky to see the animals. These large grazers will maintain the area summer and winter. These are large cattle that require little care and are self-reliant. Large grazers ensure dynamic nature management. They keep the grassland open, lay out numerous paths through rough ones, choose young trees to feast on bark and twigs.
