Those who walk around on top of the Vineyard Mountain in the majestic beech forest will find a deep well in which there is usually some water. This place is known in Wezemaal as the "Devil's Pit". The Devil's Pit is an abandoned iron sandstone quarry. But are the mysterious stories told about it consistent with the truth? The Devil's Pit is so intriguing that a new, exclusive Wezemal beer was even named after it: the "Groevebier".
