The numerous paths that cross the forest take you to a strange chalet: the so-called 'Cabane Sylvie'.

Historic sites and monuments description : The most popular but at the same time most strange character of the village was Sylvie (1851-1925). She came from Flanders, had travelled a lot, but retired to Flobecq in 1902. She settled down, away from prying eyes, in a clearing in the woods. The people of the area built a hut for her in spruce. At the center of la Houppe there is a replica. The place has become a cultural point and also the starting point of countless walks.
