Bees are irreplaceable for pollination of flowers, plants and trees. By sharing our space with a beekeeper, we give the bees a place and strengthen an important link in our ecosystem.
Without the bees, we can no longer grow and eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. But the bees are threatened by, among other things, the disappearance and fragmentation of nature, diseases and pests and the use of pesticides.
From March we will place our first beehive in the garden. In this way we protect their survival and also our nature.
The delicious honey they make is a nice extra that we get from it!
