In the past, the place where the cattle gathered twice a day to drink was an important meeting place for the villagers. The women gathered there to wash. When Maldingen was connected to the water supply in 1968, this social meeting point became a garbage dump. The current generation had completely forgotten about this place. Together with some residents, the village group cleaned the place. Now it is a blissfully quiet place to stay.
