In 1661, Father Johannes Paschasius had the presbytery built. He himself contributed 400 guilders to the costs. This only concerned the middle part. The side buildings on both sides were erected in 1785 together with a part of maintenance work: "Gebauwt den besloten baskour with the two stables and gate; renewal of the cistern; almost all the windows from below and above and the rooms change, all to the charge of the canuninck provost of the chapter of Ste Peeters church to Loven."
The presbytery was thoroughly restored in the 1960s. Repairs were carried out in 1995. This involved minor maintenance work on the roof, the façade and repairs to the interior joinery.
The presbytery is a typical example of the presbyteries that were built in our regions in the seventeenth century. It is a brick house with one story and attic. In the façades there are layers of bacon in white sandstone. The door at the back is a round-arched door. The side walls have shoulder pieces and wall braids.
