This chapel is named after a 19th century legend that tells that at that time chimney sweeps passed through Savoie for cleaning chimneys in that year, two young Savoie (inhabitants) lost their lives in a blizzard of a winter's night.
They were found frozen to death in this place. Two beech trees were planted that became beautiful, but they died around 1975 then these two new ones were planted.
