The chapel of Our Lady of Fatima was built in 1958 by the local residents under the impulse of Father Van der Pas. A bottle is said to have been walled up in the chapel with the names of those who worked on it. In the years 1930 to 1950, where the chapel now stands, the milk jugs of the small farmers of the 'Konijnenhoek' were collected every morning. Everything was then loaded and transported to Leuven, to traders, bakers, ice cream sellers and private buyers. No one was bothered by the clattering sound of milk jugs at six o'clock in the morning.
