Description

The Kleine Struisbeek has its source in Edegem. The real source is no longer visible because the stream has been completely piped in. Once under the E19, the Kleine Struisbeek becomes visible again. From this point on, the stream retained its originally meandering course for a large distance. This not only makes it valuable for nature, but also makes a positive contribution to water management. After all, the twists and turns in the stream increase its buffering capacity.
