With its unique collection, the Roeselare Cycling Museum maps out the entire history of the bicycle from the wooden dandy horse or the draisine to Macmillan's first pedal-driven bicycles, from the Michaux to the penny-farthing, from the first racing bicycle to the modern mountain bike.
In 2015-2016 the museum is being completely refurbished. While the work is in progress, the Fathers' Church will be used as the new temporary setting for the exhibition "Cycling is a Religion". Check our website www.wielermuseum.be regularly for updates and information.
